At Digital Boost, we aim to make our purchasing and refund procedures clear and predictable. This policy establishes the general rules that apply to refund requests for products and services offered by DIGITAL BOOST LTDA.
Because Digital Boost may distribute and sell different products through different payment and distribution platforms, the specific refund period and procedure applicable to a purchase may be determined by the platform through which that purchase was completed.
Last updated: August 20261. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to eligible purchases of digital products, SaaS services, information products and other digital offers made available by Digital Boost, subject to any product-specific terms presented before or during the purchase process.
Our objective is to provide a clear framework for cancellations and refund requests while respecting the terms of the payment platform used for the transaction and all mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law.
The refund terms displayed on the checkout page, order confirmation, purchase receipt or the applicable sales platform may contain product-specific information. When those terms provide a refund period or procedure, they should be reviewed together with this Policy.
2. Refund Period
The applicable refund period depends primarily on the platform through which the sale was completed and on any specific refund terms disclosed for the product at the time of purchase.
Platform-specific refund period
Where the checkout or purchase platform clearly states a refund period, that stated period will generally apply to the transaction, subject to applicable law and the terms governing the purchase.
Default seven-day period
Where no specific refund period or procedure is provided to the customer at the time of purchase, Digital Boost adopts a default refund period of seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase.
A request submitted within the applicable refund period may be reviewed according to the purchase records, the relevant product terms, the payment platform's procedures and any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
| Situation | Applicable rule |
|---|---|
| Specific refund period disclosed by the sales platform | The period and procedure disclosed for that purchase generally apply, subject to applicable law. |
| Specific product refund terms disclosed at checkout | The product-specific terms generally apply, subject to applicable law. |
| No refund period disclosed | Digital Boost's default refund period is seven (7) calendar days from purchase, subject to applicable law. |
3. The Sales Platform May Determine the Procedure
Digital Boost may use third-party platforms to process payments, manage orders, provide access to digital products, handle subscriptions and process refunds.
When a purchase is completed through a third-party platform, the platform may establish specific procedures for submitting refund requests, verifying purchases, processing payments or returning funds.
In such cases, customers may be required to submit their request directly through the platform used for the transaction, especially where the platform is the merchant-of-record, payment processor or system responsible for managing the transaction.
For this reason, please check your purchase confirmation, receipt, order email or checkout page first to identify the platform that processed your transaction and any refund instructions associated with your order.
4. Refund Eligibility
A refund request must generally be submitted within the applicable refund period and through the appropriate channel.
Depending on the product and applicable terms, information that may be required to evaluate a request can include:
- Purchaser's name or account information.
- Email address associated with the purchase.
- Order or transaction number.
- Date of purchase.
- Product or service purchased.
- Any additional information reasonably necessary to locate the transaction.
Eligibility may also depend on specific terms presented at checkout, applicable subscription conditions, promotional terms or restrictions associated with a particular product.
Nothing in this section is intended to reduce or eliminate a mandatory refund, cancellation or consumer protection right that cannot legally be waived.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, customers should follow the refund instructions supplied by the platform through which the purchase was made whenever such instructions are available.
Identify your purchase platform
Check the checkout page, confirmation email, receipt or order information to determine which platform processed the sale.
Check the applicable refund period
Review the refund deadline communicated at the time of purchase. If no period was provided, Digital Boost's default period is seven calendar days from purchase, subject to applicable law.
Submit the request
Use the designated platform procedure or contact Digital Boost through the official contact page when no platform-specific procedure is available.
Provide transaction details
Providing accurate order information helps us or the applicable platform locate the purchase and process the request efficiently.
6. Refund Processing and Timing
Once an eligible refund has been approved, the time required for the funds to appear in your account may depend on the payment method, financial institution, card issuer, payment processor and sales platform.
Digital Boost does not control the processing time of banks, card networks or independent payment providers after a refund has been initiated.
Where a third-party platform processes the transaction and refund, the platform may communicate the refund status and applicable processing timeframe directly to the purchaser.
Approval of a refund and receipt of the refunded funds are separate steps. Even after approval, the payment provider or financial institution may require additional processing time.
7. Refunds to the Original Payment Method
Where operationally possible, approved refunds are generally returned through the original payment method or payment channel used for the transaction.
If the original payment method is unavailable or the applicable platform uses another lawful refund mechanism, the platform or Digital Boost may provide an alternative method consistent with the applicable rules.
Customers should verify that their payment details remain valid and that their financial institution can receive the refund.
8. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
Certain products, subscriptions, promotional offers or services may have specific refund conditions disclosed before or during the purchase process.
Additional restrictions may apply where clearly disclosed and legally permitted, including circumstances involving:
- Services that have already been fully performed where applicable law permits exclusion of a refund after performance.
- Products with specific promotional or introductory terms.
- Subscriptions governed by separate cancellation conditions.
- Fraudulent, abusive or unauthorized transactions.
- Requests made after the applicable refund period has expired, except where another mandatory right applies.
These examples do not override rights granted by mandatory consumer protection laws.
9. Recurring Services and Subscriptions
Certain Digital Boost services may be offered on a recurring, subscription or renewal basis.
Cancellation of a future renewal and a request for a refund of a payment that has already been processed are separate matters. A customer may need to cancel a subscription before the next billing date to prevent a future charge, according to the applicable product and platform terms.
Where a recurring purchase has a specific cancellation or refund policy, that policy will be disclosed through the applicable product or sales platform.
Cancelling a subscription generally prevents future billing but does not automatically mean that a previously completed transaction will be refunded.
10. Consumer Rights
This Refund Policy is intended to establish a clear commercial procedure and is not intended to exclude, restrict or replace any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
Where applicable, statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, warranty or other consumer protections may apply in addition to the terms described in this Policy.
If a mandatory legal provision provides a consumer with a protection or refund right that is more favorable than the terms stated here, the mandatory legal provision will prevail to the extent required.
11. Changes to This Refund Policy
Digital Boost may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our products, sales channels, payment platforms, operational procedures or applicable legal requirements.
Updates will be published on this page together with a revised "Last updated" date.
Changes will not retroactively remove rights that have already accrued under applicable law or the terms applicable to a completed purchase.
12. Contact Digital Boost
